My name is Lucas Porter-Bakker and I am a Canadian teacher.
I have taught in both public and private schools throughout Spain, China, and Canada. While living in Spain, I taught Grade Six English at Mirasierra Public School in Madrid; as well as Science and Physical Education to Grades Four and Five respectively.
My first educational experience in China was working with an NGO in rural China on an education program in Northern Jiangsu Province. I then worked in the Foreign Education Department at Min Zhu Lu Primary School in Xuzhou as both a English teacher and a curriculum developer for after school programs. Years later, I was the director and co-founder of a Canadian education company in Hangzhou, China called Westgroup, where we collectively taught English and Western Culture to hundreds of students of all ages.
