I am a 29 year old Canadian with over five years of teaching experience, including three years spent in China teaching ESL students of all ages and levels. From 1-on-1 classes all the way up to lectures for hundreds of students, I have been lucky enough to gain experience and develop my teaching style under different circumstances. This has given me a well-rounded and personalized teaching style that I look forward to bringing to GOJI. I attended West Virginia State University on a baseball scholarship after one year at Dalhousie University. I received my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration and also have a minor degree in Marketing.

I am a passionate sports fan and try to follow a little of everything, however my favourites are hockey, baseball, and football. Other hobbies and interests of mine include travelling, food (both cooking and eating), snowboarding, card games, and nonsense arguments with my friends. I also love to read when I can find the time. A few of my favourite authors include Bernard Cornwell, David Foster Wallace, Christopher Hitchens, Martin Amis, Bill Bryson, and Simon R. Green. I look forward to talking to you about any of these topics or whatever it is that interests you. Meeting new people and learning new things is what makes life interesting!
